Krishna Traders

Overview

Krishna Traders is a scrap collection business based in Kanchipuram that serves factories and companies by collecting recyclable materials such as cardboard, paper, and plastic scrap. The owner was handling every vehicle booking through phone calls and WhatsApp. As bookings increased, this became repetitive, difficult to manage, and time-consuming. Instead of creating only a business website, I designed a complete booking and management system tailored to the company's daily workflow.

Problem

The owner received approximately 8–10 booking requests every day. For every new customer, he had to manually collect customer name, pickup location, collection date, timing preference, and scrap details. Every booking required multiple phone calls or WhatsApp conversations, making the process inefficient and difficult to track. There was no centralized history of bookings, no customer database, and no real-time operational dashboard.

Solution

I built a complete digital platform that simplifies the entire booking workflow. Customers submit vehicle bookings directly through the website instead of calling. Required fields: pickup date, customer name, pickup location. Optional fields: estimated weight, quantity, preferred timing. After submission, the booking is stored in Supabase, the admin dashboard updates instantly using Supabase Realtime, booking details are automatically recorded in Google Sheets, and an email notification is sent automatically to the business owner — no manual refresh required.
